Job Description

As our F&B Supervisor - Bars, you will assist with the implementation of our Bar strategy to maxamise customer satisfaction and profit.  You will assist with the monitoring of Bar Operations to ensure a efficient, customer service focused delivery ensuring your teams are supported, well trained and efficient.   You may also assist our main restaurant, Azure Bar and Grill to ensure efficient, friendly, guest-focused delivery of service. 

This role is an initial 6 month maternity leave cover contract starting at the end of November until the end of May 2025.

Full time hours working across a 7-day rotating roster. As this is a full time contract position we can NOT consider someone who is on a working holiday visa as we require a commitment of longer than 6 months.

We are looking for a experienced Bars Supervisor who has worked in a similar role within a 4/5 star Hotel or Resort. You will have extensive cocktail and bars knowledge working across multiple bars and/or locations. You will have demonstrated experience in the management of a promotions calendar for Food & Beverage products, maintenance and updating of beverage lists, daily cocktail specials, stock ordering and budget management.  An excellent communicator who can juggle multiple tasks while addressing and resolving service issues and identifying areas of improvement. Is motivated and energetic, has a head for numbers and experience in the development of SOP's.

To be successful you will hold a current NSW RSA, be a strong team player, working well with other colleagues on the floor and our kitchen teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements

  • Preferably an Australian permanent resident or Citizen with a commitment to longer term employment.
  • Previous hotel or resort Bars Management experience
  • Previous experience working as a Food & Beverage, Bars Supervisor or Bars Manager
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including late evenings and weekends
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team
  • Current NSW RSA and drivers licence
  • High standard of grooming, presentation and communication
  • Confidence in conversing with our guests and clients
  • Actively demonstrate pride in your work
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
